Course overview

The programme is aimed at ordinary employees rather than members of a formation: what to do on hearing a warning signal, where to go, how to protect yourself and how not to create further danger for others. The volume and arrangement of training depend on whether the organisation has been assigned a civil-defence category. For employees of categorised organisations the rules provide for annual training at the place of work under the approved programme; for organisations not assigned a category the rules provide for participation in exercises and drills. By decision of the head, training may be delivered by specialised training centres on a contractual basis. "Level 1", "Level 2" and "Level 3" are a Nobel Group classification, introduced so a client can match a programme to a group of participants. The legislation uses no such numbering: there, categories follow the participants' functions and status.
