Civil Protection Formation Personnel Training - Level 2

Course overview
The programme is for employees assigned to civil-protection formations. It covers the fundamentals of civil protection, the tasks and readiness of formations, protection of personnel, actions in emergencies, emergency-rescue and urgent works, first aid and practical drill. The training programme approved by Order No. 235 sets a total of 40 academic hours: 38 hours of instruction and 2 hours of final testing. Under the rules approved by Order No. 494, training of formation personnel - in organisations both assigned and not assigned a civil-defence category - is planned and conducted annually at the place of work. By decision of the head of the organisation, it may be delivered by specialised training centres on a contractual basis. "Level 1", "Level 2" and "Level 3" are a Nobel Group classification, introduced so a client can match a programme to a group of participants. The legislation uses no such numbering: there, categories follow the participants' functions and status.

Entry requirements
Membership of the organisation's civil-protection formation. The composition and equipping of formations are determined by the organisation according to local conditions and the nature of its operations.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Civil Protection"; the training programme for heads, specialists of civil-protection management bodies and forces, and for public education, approved by Order No. 235 of the Minister for Emergency Situations of 20 May 2014; the Rules on informing, promoting knowledge and training the population and specialists in civil protection, approved by Order No. 494 of the Minister of Internal Affairs of 2 July 2020; the Rules on the creation, maintenance, logistical support, preparation and deployment of civil-protection formations.
