Course overview

A fall from height remains one of the main causes of serious workplace injury. The course examines where such incidents come from, how to identify the hazard in advance, and which controls to apply - from organisational measures and edge protection through to personal fall-protection equipment. Selection, inspection and correct fitting of equipment, and work from scaffolds, ladders and elevating platforms, are covered separately.
